On Saturday, December 9th, 2006 the FFMS Robotics teams competed in the Conyers Middle School FLL( First Lego League ) Nanoquest Challenge Robotics Qualifier. The BroncoBots Team won a first place award for the project category and the Lego My Nano Team won a 3rd place award for Robot Design. The Lego My Nano Team placed 7th overall out of 19 teams and will advance to the state First Lego League tournament at Ga. Tech on January 20th 2007. The State Tournament will include 48 teams that have advanced from 7 Qualifier rounds which hosted 157 teams in Georgia.
